Emilee Christianson will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. She has a B.S. in marketing and international business from the University of Alabama and currently holds the position of Managing Director, Client Services at Trekk. She has worked at Trekk for 11 years in many capacities and is looking forward to the challenges and opportunities the next chapter will bring.
“I watched my dad help start Trekk,” said Christianson. “As young as I was, I felt his excitement as he was in a pivotal position to influence how companies used the internet to communicate. With the advent of generative AI, it feels like we have a similar open field of opportunity today — it's an exciting time to be leading an agency.”
Shayne Terry will assume the role of Chief Operations Officer. She has a B.A. in English and American literature from New York University and an M.A. in Literature from University College Dublin. She has been with Trekk for eight years and currently serves as Managing Director, Content Strategy.
“I am thrilled and honored to take over where my mom leaves off,” said Terry. “From the start, Trekk has led with curiosity, leveraging emerging and evolving technologies to help our clients achieve marketing success. Emilee and I intend to continue that legacy.”
“It has been a privilege to manage Trekk for the past 30 years,” said Laura Bennett. “The award-winning work we’ve done speaks for itself, but it’s been the people, both employees and clients, that have made it so special.” She added, “I’m turning the business over at a great time to two of the most talented and capable women I know.”
Trekk will maintain its status as a Women's Business Enterprise, certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.
